Evaluating Jobs for Internal Equity

The purpose of job evaluation is to provide a systematic and consistent approach to defining the relative worth of the jobs in your company. Jobs are ranked according to overall demands placed upon the person performing the job using an industry-accepted Job Evaluation System. You will evaluate each position in your company using the Job Evaluation Questionnaire. The completed questionnaire ratings are entered on line, automatically totaled and slotted into an internal ranking list. When all positions have been evaluated, the resulting ranking should define each job’s relative worth to your organization. This is then used to compare to external surveys.
